Title: Something is Off…

“Something is off…

Like walking through a graveyard in a ‘not-quite-nightmare’…

I look around…

Sensing no menace without, I look within…

There.

Yet… should I have reason to complain?

Did I not choose this?

If so, then why do I feel so—

Something is off…

What if I was wrong?…

I am now fixed…

Am I a man?… Or a hollow has-been?…

A clockwork mechanism—forever wound.”
